Secured Parking will be provided from the Horicon Police Department with assistance from the Explorer Scouts on Friday night and Saturday night at St. Stephen's Church parking lot. All weekend we will be holding a ROCK'N FOOD DRIVE - for each non perishable food item or $1.00 you bring to the park, we will give you one ticket. Prizes will be awarded each night! You do not need to be present to win! See the link for more details. Message from the Co-Chairs: Greetings and welcome to the 3rd annual Horicon Rock'n River Jam! It was a long, cold winter and our committee has been preparing for another exciting, jam-packed festival. Summer is almost here and we can only hope that Mother Nature will be kind to us on June 18th thru the 20th down at Discher Park. We would like to thank all of you that came out to Dodge Center for the Spring Raffle Jam - what a fantastic turnout! The committee is really impressed with the local and surrounding area support. We realize that there are tough times going on out there for so many and that is why you can still count on us for the best entertainment deal out there. This "FREE" entertainment festival could not and would not be possible with out our sponsors and those of you who purchase our exclusive raffle tickets. To repeat ourselves: you are most likely going to have a great time at the park - but more importantly - you are assisting our local organizations which heavily rely on funds needed to maintain local and international projects (example: college scholarships, youth groups and exchange programs). That is why we are committed to this festival (not because we like having our picture in the paper), but TRULY because all this money goes back into OUR COMMUNITY! And we like to see people having a good time - life is short and we need more opportunities to be with our families and friends. It's like one stop shopping - whether it's finding out what's on the menu at the Taste of Horicon, the raffle prize list or maybe finding out that we captured a picture of you dancing to Vic Ferrari last year.. we have got it all! As always - we look for new ways to improve the look and feel of the festival. We have added the Rock'n Market Place to take place on Sat. from 10am to 2 pm in the playground area. It's a modern day farmers' market with a whole lot of variety. Also, we are thrilled to be helping out the Horicon Police Department with a K9 fundraiser/competition which includes a favorite dog photo contest which is currently going on around town - get to those local businesses and vote with your monetary donations by Friday June 19th. There will also be an obedience and agility competition Sat. at 3 pm. Come down to find out who the winners are! The FREE safe bus program is a huge hit and we have added another bus for Sat. night - courtesy of River City Distributing and Johnson Bus Service - please take advantage of this if you can! There is more food, music and activities than ever before - can you tell that we are extremely excited to share this with you?
