Each show is geared to ages of students or for specific themes requested by school or library. This is a physics based program presented in an entertaining manner and is full of unexpected happenings. Steve Belliveau, B.S., in Engineering Applied Science, is the dynamic assembly leader. The show provides twists to common science experiments which exhibit the principles of: Static Electricity, Air Pressure, Water Pressure, Sound, Light/Color/Eyes, Friction, Pulleys, Distribution of Weight, Conservation of Energy and Inductive and Deductive Reasoning. The show then moves on to large scale physics stunts which will be new to your students and are sure to captivate their attention. During the show a teacher will be turned into a human Gyroscope, a student will ride a Hovercraft across the floor, one girl will beat four boys in the classic Tug of War, an 185 mph air blower is used to create a mini Tornado and Liquid Nitrogen (-320 degrees below 0F) makes for very cool experiments. Music accompanies most of the larger stunts to add atmosphere and a theatrical setting.

DJ Shorty
Josh is one the premier local DJ talents - he has over 8,000 songs on hand to please just about everyone! Shorty will be performing during the Taste of Horicon 5:30pm - 9:30pm. Josh will be playing the Lip Sync Songs for the Queen Contest that will be at 7:00pm that evening. If you haven't seen this contest it is alot of fun to watch. He will also be at the Beach Party Saturday afternoon from 2pm - 4pm at the Horicon Aquatic Center. Shorty will also be performing with Great Lakes Championship Wrestling Show on Saturday from 4pm - 6pm.

The Don Peachy Band
Come down to the park and enjoy a Schwai Fish Fry, burger or whatever you are craving for and listen to the great sounds of Don and his band. The Don Peachy Band has been one of this areas favorite polka bands for years now. They play a pleasing selection of Great American Standards, Variety, Polkas, Waltzs, Latin and basically - something for everybody! Everyone is invited to come out, join the fun and engage in the early evening filled with "2010 Summer Memories"!

Vic Ferrari is a 10 piece band from the Fox Valley, playing all the hits from the 70's through today. They are a variety show band. These guys pulled a huge crowd to our festval last year - looking forward to a repeat performance!

Archery Alley
Come test your archery skills in the Horicon Marsh Bowmen's archery alley on Saturday, starting at 1:00pm. There will be experienced archery men there to assist any one interested in trying out their skills with this great sportmen's hobby. This will be available at no charge. Come check this out down at the park.

Debbie Nelson
Debbie Nelson has been performing as a solo act for the past 8 years and I've also played in bands in Southeast Wisconsin for more years than she cares to count. Some of the bands I've been in are, most recently, The Crisis, also Freckles and the Hostages, The Larry's and Class of 62/Surf Boys. Debbie's songlist as a solo act includes artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, Shania Twain and No Doubt.

BeachParty with DJ Shorty

Beach Party And So Much More! -- Come join us for some family fun at the Horicon Pool - June 19th. Pool opens at 1:00pm with admission of $2.00 for the day. "STORY TIME WITH GERI" At 1:40pm, Geri Feucht, from the Horicon Library will be by DJ Shorty to do alittle story time and to talk about what is going on at the library this summer. At 2pm - 4pm dance and enjoy the music with DJ Shorty. From 2pm - 4 pm we have Shared Covenant Ministries, and Sacred Heart Youth Group who will provide children activities, games and miniature golf. Watch for Clifford the Big Red Dog, he will be walking the Park from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Don't forget to look for Tim Glander - balloon sculpter, and when you see him don't forget to ask him to show you a trick or two. All day long we have things for the family to enjoy. At the Beach Party sign up for door prizes. You could win a pass to the YMCA of Dodge County "Water Park Coupon". Good for 2 Adults and 4 children. Great Lakes Championship Wrestling
A favorite at last year's festival! Horicon High School alumni - Rich Finke is bringing his highly successful wrestling federation to Rock'n River Jam on Saturday afternoon behind the Kiwanis Booth at Discher Park. This is the same group that has performed at a local firemen picnic and has drawn hundreds of people to come and enjoy the entertainment that they give. So come on down for some great food, drinks and family oriented wrestling action.

Johnny Wad

If you have never seen this band now is the time to come down to Discher Park and see them! This Band Is A Must See! They will blow you away with their great talent! Johnny Wad was formed in 1999 as an extra project from members of several different bands. The Wad band really took off instantly! The members consist of Chris Dame, Colin Kriss, Rick LaJeunesse and Jason Jelinek. Johnny Wad has become one of the most requested and respected bands in Wisconsin and there is no end in site. With a rock solid rhythm section, dual guitars, four part harmony, not to mention strong lead vocal ability from each members, they can cover a huge span of music from the Eagles to Velvet Revolver and do it with integrity.
